The U.S. labor market shortage stems from racial equity gaps in access to education.

We help reverse systemic underinvestment in diverse talent pipelines through early stage interventions in high school BEFORE students are locked out of higher education opportunities.

College + Scholarship Coaching

  • Our SaaS technology platform plus training program for youth service providers and underrepresented college-bound students, Access leverages 35+ on-demand coaching courses designed to improve college acceptance and scholarship success rates.

    Access leverages mindset coaching, interactive exercises, video-based instruction, and validated learning objectives that have resulted in a 100% college admissions rate and over 95% scholarship acquisition rate since 2014.

  • Access Online is available year-round for individual student users!

    While geared towards high school students who are college-bound, Access can also help those who are going straight into the workforce or current college students & recent college graduates who need a strategy refresh before applying for internships, jobs, or grad school.

  • Our tech-enabled coaching platform and CAP Community uses a freemium subscription model that enables us to make our signature, on-demand courses free for all individual student users.

    Youth Service Providers (YSPs) such as non-profit or community based organizations, corporate mentoring programmings, schools, school districts, and other groups may opt to bulk enroll their students into Access, as well as upgrade to access additional platform features and support.

    Premium features include student progress tracking, group reports and multi-group on-boarding via a dedicated success manager. Group and network fees are calculated based on the number of users.

Leadership Development

  • Access users can apply to participate in LEAD, our intensive leadership training series which includes our signature Workshop, Summit, and Youth Global Impact Challenge.

    LEAD is a short intensive into Nyah Project’s experiential leadership model.

    Those who complete the entire LEAD series will receive a certificate of completion.

  • Applications for LEAD open in the Fall of each year.

    The LEAD Workshop, Summit, and Global Impact Challenge occur in the Spring of the following year.

    1. High school student in South Florida

    2. Must be currently enrolled in Access Online

Fellowship

  • We competitively select 12 high school students who participate in LEAD for a full year experiential leadership fellowship, which includes a two week summer program abroad, professional mentorship matching, talent development coaching and individualized support.

  • Applications for the Fellowship open in the Fall of each year.

    July 2023 - International Travel Component of Fellowship (MUST HAVE VALID PASSPORT)

    August to October 2023 - ACCESS Coaching, Part 2

    November 2023 to May 2024 - Mentorship Matching + Individualized College Access Support

  • Fellowship Eligibility Requirements:

    1. You have a positive attitude and are excited about new experiences, developing your leadership skills, new cultures, new people, and travel.

    2. You are enrolled in Access Online prior to the application deadline (Jan. 15, 2023)

    3. You reside in Broward or Miami-Dade County, FL.

    4. You are currently enrolled in high school and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

    5. You are between the ages of 15-18 before the application deadline. (Preference is for students who are high school sophomores or juniors during the time of application. A limited number of current high school seniors are selected.)

    6. You have demonstrated an interest in developing your leadership skills to help your community through extracurricular activities and non-school affiliated services projects.

    7. You have a financial need or economic disadvantage, your total annual family income is below $85,000, AND/OR you are eligible for free/reduced meals at your school.

    8. You currently have or will secure a valid passport in time to complete the international travel component of the fellowship (scheduled July 2023). Passports must be valid through January 2024 (6+ months after you are scheduled to travel for your fellowship).

    9. You can meet all Fellowship Deadlines (see When section).

    10. Your parent/guardian complete all applicable written consent and release forms as well as eSign your online application.

    11. You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to traveling for the fellowship (either 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna, or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, completed before June 1st, 2023). You will also be required to obtain any additional vaccinations needed for the country selected for the fellowship.

  • Applications for the 2023 Global Youth Leadership Fellowship open on Nov. 1st, 2022.
