Nyah Project Receives Knight Foundation Challenge Grant

March 3, 2023 (Miami) | Nyah Project is thrilled to be a recipient of a challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation! The grant incentivizes individual and corporate donors to help us raise $50,000 by the end of 2023, which will receive a 1:1 match by the foundation.

We are so grateful for this significant investment which allows us to continue our work around college access for underrepresented South Florida youth!

Knight Foundation supports the development of engaged, inclusive and equitable communities toward a more effective democracy in the 26 cities where the Knight brothers owned and operated newspapers. An engaged community is one where people participate in civic affairs, are attached to the place where they live and are invested in their community’s future.
